Seven Stars Bed and Breakfast

This was our second visit, and we’d happily return again. Diane let us leave the car in the car park while we took one last walk around town, which was kind of her. She and beautiful Captain gave us a lovely welcome. Our room was warm and lovely, the bed was comfy, and both it and the linen were spotlessly clean. We had everything we needed. The stay was perfect, and everyone who looked after us was wonderful. We couldn’t find a fault, especially compared with the appalling self-catering place we’d just left after it ended.

The breakfast was fantastic, and it’s an easy walk from here to the bookshops. The rooms are great too, though bear in mind how old the building is.

Fred greeted us warmly and was very helpful. The room and en-suite were very clean, and parking was free. It’s well placed for interesting shops and places to eat, and it welcomes dogs. Breakfast was excellent, with Livvy providing friendly, efficient and professional service. Di was a great host, and it was lovely meeting her dog, Captain. We’d happily recommend the Seven Stars.

We had a wonderful time here, and the breakfast was a real highlight. The food was so good, with excellent vegan and vegetarian choices, and the staff were warm and friendly. Our room was clean and cosy, and the pool was lovely. We especially liked that it connected to the room through sliding doors. The location puts you right in the middle of everything in Hay. Seven Stars made the stay for us, and we’d absolutely come back.
