Heacham Manor Hotel

I’d loved this place when I stayed years ago, and was glad to get a room for one night at a reasonable price. We slept well in the big, comfortable bed, and the room was good and well equipped. There was the odd duck quacking overnight, but it was fine. Breakfast was tasty, though service was really busy and we had quite a wait even though we got there fairly early. I’d definitely stay again.

The hotel’s in a great spot near hunstanton and Heacham, and we had a nice visit, though perhaps expected a bit more. After recovering from a foot injury, this was my first trip away, so I’d been looking forward to it. The welcome was very positive and room P1 looked nice, though getting there meant passing through a multitude of fire doors. It was spacious and clean. Dinner at mulberry was pleasant, and the service was polite and timely, as was breakfast each day. The fish and chips, though, were greasy and overcooked, and the restaurant was cold. WiFi was hard to get connected to, then painfully slow, while TV reception was patchy and the channel we eventually got kept breaking up. Maybe the room’s location was the cause, but management should know. Parking was a bit of a scramble with golfers using many spaces. Perhaps some could be reserved for hotel guests.

We like walking, and Hunstanton is a steady 30-minute walk away. The location suits us well. This was our second visit to Heacham manor, this time in the main building. The room was clean, warm and comfortable, and the food was excellent, especially dinner. We’ll gladly return.

Dinner, bed and breakfast were very good value, and the service from the staff was exceptional. Emily, Rory, Charlotte and Tara were especially friendly and helpful. The cottage rooms and hotel were heated a little too warmly.
