Blairglas B&B

The grounds are pretty and the B&B is in a peaceful spot. We had comfortable, clean rooms and a delicious, generous breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room. The friendly hosts greeted us with tea and goodies, and both they and the staff were helpful and very nice. You can watch swallows and see peasants in the fields. We really enjoyed our stay at Blairglas, and highly recommend it.

Christine and Neil welcomed us with tea and cakes, such a lovely gesture. Their home has a wonderful Scottish character and feels so welcoming. They were perfect hosts, and we’ll try to come back as soon as we can.

We arrived as B&B guests and left feeling like friends. The couple made a point of chatting with us, getting to know us a little and sharing stories about their family. You can tell they take real pride in looking after people and running their business. On arrival, they served afternoon tea and cakes in an elegant China set. Our room was warm and spotless, and even the bed linen was ironed. Breakfast was special too, with cereal, fresh fruit, juice, yoghurt and a cooked breakfast, plus plenty of coffee. It was all served in the dining room, overlooking the fields and mountains, with a charming China set and silver-plated cutlery. Wishing them every success, and hopefully we’ll return soon.

Thank you both. A comfortable room, cream tea and an excellent breakfast were lovely, but meeting two people who restore your faith in human nature made life feel wonderful.
