Breakfast was lovely, and the service was friendly throughout. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good shower. I arrived very late, after the pub had closed, but Andrew went out of his way to meet me and show me to my accommodation. I stayed for two nights and would happily recommend it. Thank you.

I haven’t stayed here, but I visit often since it’s nearby. There’s loads of character, a great atmosphere for drinks, and lovely food. The staff are friendly, helpful, and have a good sense of humour.

The function room has its own private bar, which helped the evening run smoothly. I held a private event at The Olde Kings Arms and was really glad I did. From beginning to end, the manager and team were professional and helpful. I’d recommend this pub for a party.

I’ve been coming here twice a week for about 10 years and have tried all sides of the service. After just having the Sunday roast, I realised I’d never written a review. The rooms are comfortable, the food is wholesome, the staff are the best, and the pints are too. This pub is a credit to the Old Town and Hemel Hempstead. Thanks to Ben and the team for all their hard work.

The location worked really well for gigs at the old town hall, and the pub has a relaxed feel as soon as you walk in. We stayed one night on 18/10/25. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the food was excellent, and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Thanks to all the staff for a lovely stay, especially Dotty for the lovely breakfast. Highly recommend.
