We found the prices reasonable, and the fries deserve a mention of their own, they were something special. The food was delicious, including the pollock loco chicken burger and the tavern tudo burger, which my husband reckoned was the best burger ever. The sticky toffee pudding and chocolate mousse were worth trying too. It was very dog friendly and accommodating, and the cocktails were good as well. One heads-up: the pear and almond tart is cooked to order and takes around 20 minutes. We weren't told when ordering our mains, and I would have liked to try it, but had a bus to catch.

We hadn't booked, but they still welcomed us warmly and found us a table in the garden. It has a lovely, relaxed feel. We went for burgers and beer, and both were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, and the menu has plenty of choice, from starters and pizza to grilled dishes and desserts. Hart Street Tavern made for a really enjoyable, leisurely lunch. We'll be back.

The drinks were excellent, and the cosy feel of the place, with its fireplace and welcoming staff, made the visit pleasant. We had a bottle of wine and a gin cocktail along with the 'nduja sausage pizza. The pizza was nice, just not the best we've had. We'd come back for the atmosphere and drinks.

We'd picked something else before we arrived, but changed our minds and went for the tender sirloin beef roast. Such a lovely Easter Sunday meal, I can't recommend it enough. The service was absolutely perfect, and the food and drinks were great. Thank you so much.

We chose the fresh plaice and deer steak, both succulent and cooked just right, with good-sized portions. The prices seemed on a par with other places nearby, and everything was clean and spacious. There are plenty of good eateries in Henley, and this one is definitely in the top half. Even on a dull, rainy afternoon it was fairly busy, so I imagine it's a local favourite. Service was quick and friendly, and there was a good range of food and drinks for everyone, whether a bit hungry or starving. Nice to see decent non-alcoholic beers and drinks for drivers too.
