Hexham looked beautiful, and I only wish we'd had longer to explore this historic town. We were there for a wedding at the Abbey and spent two nights at The Beaumont. The whole stay was a pleasure, from the spotless, beautifully presented room to the genuinely helpful, polite staff who couldn't do enough for us. We skipped dinner at the hotel, but both breakfasts were lovely and fresh. The muffins were some of the best I've had in ages, and even the bread was just right. I'm a decaf drinker, and the flat whites and cappuccinos made with real beans were a treat. Decaf often tastes like a latte to me, but these were spot on. Thanks to everyone for your kindness and professionalism.

We had dinner at the hotel and really enjoyed it, the food was nicely presented and delicious. Breakfast was a good buffet, with cooked options available from the menu too. Our room was spacious, clean and well equipped, and the hotel has been updated nicely, including comfortable seating in the restaurant and bar. The location worked well for us, across from the park and close to the Abbey, with shops and restaurants an easy walk away.

We had a comfortable, warm room with a good layout and all the equipment we needed. The staff, restaurant and food were brilliant. There’s plenty to explore nearby, and the location is good. We reserved a space with an EV charger in the private car park, so the car was ready for the day when we left.

We had several meals at this welcoming hotel, and the staff were helpful with check-in and getting us settled in our room. It feels like a place local people enjoy too. Across from the park and the Abbey, right in Hexham’s main commercial area, it’s easy to walk everywhere. The hotel is cozy and comfortable, and we’d be happy to return.

Daniel greeted us and was helpful throughout our stay. We also want to thank Amy, who handled our booking so well, and Florin and Roger for looking after us. In our superior room, we had a lovely view of the park opposite, with all the daffodils in bloom. The room was stunning, and we enjoyed drinks in the cozy lounge when we arrived. The bar staff were lovely and brought them over to our table. Breakfast was included and was the best hotel breakfast we’ve had. My husband ordered the full English, while I had oak-smoked trout with scrambled egg and lemon crème fraîche. Both were cooked fresh to order, and there was also a big continental buffet to help yourself to. We found the Hexham restaurant week menu tempting, so it’s worth taking a look and booking a table. There’s a small car park under the hotel, and the staff can help arrange free on-street parking if it’s full.
