The cottage is right opposite the river Goyt, and Sett Valley Cafe, one of my favourites, is within walking distance. There are plenty of nearby walks, with guides at the cottage for people just getting started. I grew up in New Mills, and we needed the extra beds for our now extended family. It was still a lovely place to stay: beautiful, cosy countryside setting, suitable for families and very well stocked with games and essential foods. Thanks, Charlie.
