The mattress wasn't very comfortable for me, though I can be picky about beds, haha. Apart from that, the stay was amazing. The staff were attentive, the rooms beautiful, and the place had an authentic feel with a modern touch. The shower was lovely and powerful. Breakfast was beautifully cooked, well presented and filling. Definitely worth a night away to relax. Thank you so much ☺️

We stayed for a night after a post funeral wake at the inn. The staff were all efficient and friendly, and Rose deserves a special mention for welcoming us, helping with dinner and looking after us again at breakfast. Every meal was enjoyable and nicely presented. Our room had pleasant furnishings, a comfortable bed, a lovely shower, plenty of tea and coffee, and a flask of fresh milk. We'd like to return and explore the area in happier circumstances.

Whenever I visit family and friends, The Pack Horse Inn, New Mills, is my first choice. The views are stunning, and the staff are helpful and friendly. Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable, with all the facilities you need. Breakfast was cooked perfectly and offered a good choice for everyone. It's always a pleasure staying here, thank you.

The location was further off the beaten track than we'd expected, but the views and walks made it well worth it. Lovely pub, great room, food and service. We loved it and would highly recommend.

We went for a meal and found the menu had a good range of choices. The service was great, and the food was top quality for the price. We arrived in the dark and found the drive a bit tricky, but that wouldn't stop me going again.
