Abbey Lodge Hotel

It’s in a handy spot for visiting High Wycombe, and the basic breakfast was fine for me. The room needs some upkeep, though: there were dents in the door and mould in the bathroom. There was no hand soap either, so I had to use the shower gel.

We’ve stayed here three times now as a family, and everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. The room was very clean, and the top family room now has a microwave, which made my son really happy. We can’t wait to come back. Everything is so close to the hotel 😊

Had a peaceful night’s sleep, a hot shower, then coffee and a bun in the morning. For the price and location, it was perfect for my one-night business trip. I’ll return.

The location is convenient for High Wycombe and the station, and the rear car park worked fine even though it was full each night. But I wouldn’t stay here again. It served its purpose, yet it wasn’t a comfortable place to rest. The hotel feels very worn, and the room got hot in warm weather with poor ventilation. The blind didn’t work well with the window. My bed linen was okay, but during my four-day stay nobody checked the room or provided any service. The bathroom was tiny and dirty, with little space to use it. The towel was barely bigger than a hand towel, and there was no bath mat. Breakfast was included, but the selection was so limited that it wasn’t worth much. For the price, the quality and value were both poor, even though they seem to be trying to make the best of the place.
