Avoca Lodge

The upstairs bathroom has a deep bath and a proper power shower, and the downstairs bedroom has its own wet room with a rain shower. We had two nights at 124 AVOCA LODGE, and the house was warm, spotless and so comfortable. The kitchen had underfloor heating, and the open plan space looked great, especially with the framed GREAT WALL OF CHINA picture and Ming Type vases in the sitting room. There are three bedrooms, all with walk-in closets. Our king-sized bed felt like something from a good 4* hotel, and the other rooms had very comfortable beds too. One bedroom's Chinese wildlife picture looked so real that we covered it with a curtain for Rose. Li was lovely and checked in to see we were all right. We got in late on Friday after a crash delayed us on both the M50 and M1, but found the place easily despite Google Maps taking us down a country lane where you wouldn't want to meet a tractor and trailer. The key was in the front door when we arrived. We went to ASDA on Kennedy Way for Christmas groceries, and also visited DECATHLON OUTDOOR PURSUITS / SPORTS, IKEA and Home Bargains near George Best Airport. If we ever won the Lotto, I'd ask Li for the plans to this wonderful home.
