The advice Bramble Lodge sent before our visit was really useful, from scenic walks and places to see to ideas for eating and drinking. John and Julie were so welcoming and attentive when we arrived, and made us feel at home throughout. Our room was bright, comfortable, and clean. We appreciated the tea, coffee, and biscuits, plus fresh milk in the fridge on the landing. Breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of cooked choices, cereals, toast, jams, and marmalade. John’s home grown tomatoes were a lovely extra. It felt like a home from home, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

Breakfast was a great start to the day. John and Julie greet you warmly, and there are loads of choices to order the night before. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and cooked just right. I’ve tried most of the options and honestly can’t pick a favourite. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived, and our room was spotless, with a generous supply of tea, milk, and delicious biscuits. The bed was very comfortable, with crisp white linen. The house is handy for visiting the lovely towns and villages as well as the stunning beaches. John and Julie are always around with suggestions for restaurants, pubs, cafés, and places to visit. Their hospitality is excellent. Bramble Lodge B/B is a must.

We spent three days at the Bramble Lodge Annex & B&B with friends, and had a wonderful stay. Julie looked after us brilliantly, served a great breakfast, and even had wine glasses ready after a full day of sightseeing. She made us feel completely at home. I kept calling her Carol, though! It’s a great base for visiting the North Norfolk coast, and we were lucky with the weather. We’ll definitely stay at Bramble Lodge again if we’re back in the area.

The vegan breakfast choices were good, and the place was very clean and comfortable. I stayed for three nights and I'm sure I'll be back.

The breakfasts are a real highlight, with traditional English fare alongside creative dishes and vegan and vegetarian choices. We especially liked the sweet potato and spinach hash, and the scrambled egg with smoked salmon from the nearby Cley smokery was excellent. Bramble Lodge is easy to find, close to the centre of Blakeney, and a handy base for exploring the North Norfolk coast. John and Julie have made it a comfortable, beautifully decorated B&B. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with its own WC and shower. A great way to start each day.
