This has become my favourite spot for Sunday lunch. The service from a young lady with dark hair and glasses was outstanding, and she even got the table service right, which you don't often see in a small pub. The homemade pâté starter was lovely, and the roast beef came with lots of delicious gravy. The lemon meringue was a bit disappointing beside the rest of the meal. There's a beautiful garden to sit in and relax. Our family thinks it's a winner.

We spent a wonderful weekend here. The rooms were comfortable, the staff nice, and the place itself stunning. The food was exquisite too. We ordered fish pie and stuffed belly pork, both cooked to order, delicious and served in huge portions. Highly recommended 🙂

We stayed in the accommodation, not the pub, so I can't comment on the pub itself, though it looked lovely. The staff seemed polite enough at check-in. Our room was clean, but very small, with a hard, creaky bed. There was awful mould on the shower ceiling, which really put me off. Bring your own toiletries if you stay. That's fine if you know in advance, but there wasn't even soap by the sink.

We stayed midweek in one of the four courtyard apartments. The location is nice and the village looks interesting, but it was very quiet, with nobody eating while we were there. The room was small, with a bathroom and shower, and tea and coffee were available. There's a large car park across the road. The big disappointment was that breakfast wasn't provided. A continental breakfast wouldn't be hard to offer, and because of its absence, we won't return.

A decent country pub with rooms and freshly cooked food. The local pub in the gorgeous village of Llanasa is a big plus too. There's a new menu from September 2018, well worth trying.
