A good-value, family-friendly pub, with ample parking and thoughtful extras like a children's play area and baby changing. We ordered three all-day breakfasts and chips, and there was enough to share with my toddler. There was a small mix-up with a special request, but it got sorted out and didn't spoil the meal.

We ordered the Easter Sunday dinner for 17/04/2022. You can tell the food is homemade, and they offered a vegetarian option too, so there's something for everyone. The staff were lovely and friendly. Well worth the money, and I can't recommend this pub enough!

The beer garden has a play area out back, which is handy for the kids while parents have a drink. It’s a clean, tidy, family-run pub with a warm, friendly feel. Dogs are welcome too, whether you’re stopping in for a drink or some good home-cooked food. It has a 5-star food hygiene rating. Best pub around. Xx

The landing has a handy self-serve breakfast setup with bread, cereal, porridge, tea, coffee, milk, a kettle and toaster. The lady we met was really lovely, too. We slept in bedroom 1, which had three comfortable, clean single beds. The shared bathroom, with a shower, sink and toilet, was very clean, and the WiFi worked well. The TV in the bar downstairs went off promptly at 11:15 pm, and it was very quiet after that, so we slept well. We knew the room was above a pub and might be a little noisy before bed, so we brought earplugs. I parked on the road at first, then used the car park after we got back from the beach. Decent place for a one-night stay!

We came with a fairly large kids’ football party, and the staff handled it easily. Service was great. It’s a small community pub with a bigger outdoor area for sitting and eating, and a nice stop for a pint or a bite while travelling down the coast.
