The garden was a lovely spot for an afternoon glass of wine in the sun, and the kitchen had everything we needed. We had a chilly afternoon by the log burner and found the bedroom really comfortable. Buttercup cottage is thoughtfully put together, and its location is handy for shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. A lovely place to unwind and recharge. We had a wonderful time and will definitely come back.

We loved this cottage and are already thinking about booking again with the family. The garden has beautiful views of the Peaks all around, and the cottage is fully equipped. Pubs, cafes, restaurants and shops are all within walking distance, and the hosts were wonderful. Such an amazing place in a stunning setting.

It feels tucked away from Castleton’s bustle while still being right in the heart of the village. The cottage is spacious and clean, with its own garden and an amazing view. It’s well equipped but still homely and comfortable, and all the personal touches made our stay feel extra special. A real home from home, and an absolute gem.

The garden itself has lovely walks and scenery to enjoy. This cottage is in a great spot in the Peak District, and I can’t wait to come back for wine by the open fire.
