The Mucky Duck Inn

I had a juicy, well-seasoned homemade burger with fries that were crunchy and soft. The beer garden was full of evening sun, and the landlord was jolly and friendly. The service wasn't especially quick, but it was nice. I hear the beer on tap was good too. There's a friendly pub dog who begs when excited, though he soon gets bored if you ignore him. A great meal while I was away for work.

After a long local walk, we stopped in for a lunchtime drink. Our two dogs settled into the garden straight away, and this is probably the most dog-friendly pub around. The staff were cheerful and welcoming. We only had time for a short visit, but we'll be back to eat next time.

I felt really welcome here and loved my stay. The pub has a friendly atmosphere, good guest rooms that are cosy and well equipped, and dinner is served there every night. There were lots of food choices and specials, and breakfast was perfect.

Rudgwick Cars is an excellent taxi company. I'll definitely come back to this hotel too: I wasn't sure what to expect, but the service went far beyond it, and the manager was very friendly and helpful. The room was great and had an iron and board, two fans and even a water bottle. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the very clean bathroom was well stocked with bath and shower soap. Breakfast was the icing on the cake.
