I stayed for five nights and slept really well in the comfortable bed. The room was spacious, very clean, and had the things I needed, including a kettle, mill, tea bags, TV, and hairdryer. They cleaned it and changed the bed daily. Richard and Denise were caring and supportive, always happy to chat, and worked around my schedule to make me a five-star breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

Denise made my short stay really pleasant. The room was clean and tidy, and breakfast was spot on. I’ll stay again next time I’m working in the area.

The location makes it easy to get into the city, and there are some great restaurants and bars nearby. Secure parking was a real plus. The guest house is friendly, well run, and lovely, with comfortable, spacious rooms and all the facilities you’d expect. From arrival to departure I felt at home and well looked after. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from, including a full English and healthy yogurt with fruit and nuts. I’ll definitely stay again and can recommend it to anyone.

Denise and Richard work so hard, and this lovely, welcoming place is a credit to them. They make sure nothing is too much trouble. The whole place is great.

Clean and tidy, but a way out of town, and there were no towels.
