Angela looked after us so well and worked hard to make sure we had a fabulous time. The staff were all friendly, attentive and clearly hardworking. Our room was very comfortable, in a peaceful location, with plenty of history and quaint touches.

We’d heard the food was good and were glad we gave the pub a try while staying in Norfolk. Vicky greeted us with a lovely smile and friendly chat, so we felt welcome right away. It’s very dog friendly, and the home-cooked food lived up to what we’d been told. Thanks again, Vicky, for making our visit feel special.

The Sunday roast was delicious, and of the several highly rated pubs we tried over the weekend, this one had the best food. Service was great as well. I really liked the pub’s traditional feel and would recommend it, especially after Anna’s coastal walk, which I’d suggest too.

We spent the night in our motorhome. There are no services, but parking is free if you have a meal in the pub, and you can use the pub facilities during opening hours. It’s a lovely pub in a great location, with very nice food, good beer and helpful, pleasant staff. Highly recommended.

We came back for breakfast the next morning and found a lovely spread. The evening before, Nathan and the team made us feel relaxed and welcome, and we ended up chatting with other couples. Going into the pub felt like being a regular. We had dinner, and the sticky toffee pudding was to die for. I’ve never been somewhere so dog friendly. Thanks to Nathan and the team, top job 🍸🍹
