The food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection, and the service had a rare, personal touch with excellent attention to detail. It's a wonderful restaurant and B and B, with comfortable surroundings and classic furniture. Try the steak with a bottle of wine. The value and service are amazing, and I'll certainly visit again. Just remember it's cash only, so don't arrive expecting to use a credit card.

We went for an evening meal at this lovely hidden gem and weren't disappointed. The restaurant is quaint and relaxing, the staff are friendly and welcoming, and the food is really nice with generous portions. Very good value for money. Highly recommend :)

We didn't stay overnight, but had a great evening meal. There was plenty of lovely food for a competitive price, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The beer was good too. We'll definitely return.

Dave/Anya welcomed us, chatted with us, and made the place feel like a home from home. The room was spotless and spacious. Breakfast had a choice of cereals and a full fry-up made how you like it, enough to set you up for the day. Table service was top drawer. There's a bar for later, too.

Anya made a lovely full English breakfast and was friendly and really helpful. I also felt very safe in the house, with the rules she had set for herself. It was an honour to be one of the few people staying there while Anya was in charge.
