The dog-friendly welcome here is the real standout. Our dogs were treated like family, with toys, treats, bowls and throws so they could settle in with us. Inside, it felt like home straight away, with comfy sofas, outdoor seating and a welcome hamper of tea, coffee, cake and cookies, plus fresh milk in the fridge. We’ve stayed twice and are already planning to return. The beds are so comfortable after a day out in the sea air, and The Hideaway makes a lovely base for exploring Hunstanton and the Norfolk coast. Carole and Lou put so much care into making the stay special.

It’s tucked away between two properties, well back from the road, so the name really fits. There’s parking for two cars, which is a handy bonus, and the garden is spacious, secure and a lovely place to relax, especially with dogs or children. Inside, it’s bigger than it looks, nicely finished and has everything you might need. We felt at home as soon as we arrived. The beds were very comfortable, and we enjoyed the evening sun from the balcony. You can walk to everything, and even my parents, who are both in their 80s, managed easily. Sandringham is only 15 minutes away, too. Thanks, Carol, we’ll definitely be back.

We had a lovely few days and would happily come back. The place was immaculate and cosy, with comfortable beds and tea, coffee, biscuits, cake, milk and dog treats waiting for us. We enjoyed walks with the dog along the nearby beaches, especially Brancaster beach, and went to Sandringham for a walk and afternoon tea. We’d thoroughly recommend it.

There’s plenty of room inside, despite the small-looking exterior. We had a good-sized kitchen stocked with what we needed, a roomy dining and sitting area, and two decent-sized bedrooms. Having a choice of bath or shower was useful, and the downstairs toilet by the front door was welcome. The Hideaway was spotlessly clean, with tea, coffee and milk provided so we didn’t need to shop before making a drink. The many thoughtful little touches made the stay enjoyable, and the location is handy for Hunstanton and the wider Norfolk coast. Everything we needed for a comfortable visit was there.

We had a fabulous week here. The enclosed back garden gave us peace of mind and was a lovely sun trap, and the balcony was a real bonus with a view of the sea. It’s clean, comfortable and spacious, and dogs are welcome too. Shops and entertainment are within walking distance, with lots of places to visit nearby.
