Hydrangea House

My family, my husband and I, two teens, and a young adult, spent our American Thanksgiving holiday at this beautiful home. We could walk to the beach and the cute town of Hythe, and we also took an afternoon trip to Rye. The owner, Jo, was very responsive and made the getaway unforgettable. Our fur babies enjoyed the amenities and walks along the coast too. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the big meal, and the hot tub was wonderful to relax in afterwards. The beds were extremely comfortable, the baths were all updated, and every “hotel guest” amenity we could think of had been provided.

The property is within walking distance of everything we needed: the beach, canal, supermarkets, and restaurants. Jo was wonderful to communicate with throughout our stay and let us know that the hot tub temperature might need adjusting. She also left lovely welcome gifts. The small touches, from eco-friendly natural products to toys for the children and the hot tub, made the holiday perfect. Thanks for helping us make wonderful memories.

Jo is a fantastic owner who was on hand to quickly answer any queries or questions. The arrangements from booking through to going home were first class, with the best booking arrangements and guest information we’ve experienced. The whole stay earns five stars, and all eight of us in my family gave it a clear 10/10. Hydrangea House is a lovely, relaxing place to stay. It’s very well appointed, with high-quality fixtures and fittings, close to local amenities and just a short walk from the sea and walks along the Royal Military canal. We’ve booked many high-end properties in the U.K., and this is easily one of the best. I thoroughly recommend it. Thank you, Jo, for a wonderful time.

A lovely, comfortable home with everything you need. The welcome pack they left was a nice touch. It’s very near the town and within walking distance of the beach, which our dogs loved. We highly recommend Hydrangea House as a perfect place to stay in Hythe, Kent.
