Forget Me Not

The rear garden is a peaceful place to sit, with furniture and a gentle stream, and Carol and Graham made us feel very welcome. We spent a week at Forgetmenot WB and the cottage was clean, tidy and beautifully furnished, with a fully equipped kitchen and lots of thoughtful touches. It's well placed for walking and cycling nearby, or heading into quaint Rye. The lemon cake they left was delicious. We'd gladly return to this lovely place.

Even in the heat wave, the cottage stayed pleasantly cool day and night. It's modern inside, fully equipped, quiet and private, and there's safe parking right outside. You can walk to the Co-op, fish and chip shop and pub, with a nice cafe a little farther along the road. The beach, a large children's play park and field, and plenty of nature walks are all nearby. The owners next door are happy to help and make amazing lemon drizzle cake. We didn't use the frequent bus service, but it's there. A lovely peaceful place, or a handy base for exploring local towns and attractions.

We were greeted warmly and had a comfortable, cosy stay with everything we needed for Winchelsea Beach and nearby Rye. There was a welcome pack with delicious cake on arrival, and help or advice was available whenever needed.

Carol and Graham were lovely hosts, full of local knowledge and happy to go above and beyond. We really appreciated all their care and attention. Forget Me Not is quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to the coast to explore the area's beaches. The bungalow was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with a kitchen ready for keen cooks. There were books, games, films, USB charging points and a couple of hair dryers, plus welcome treats. Local amenities are close by too.
