The views from the two front balconies and one at the back are lovely, and the apartment is handy for Wetherspoons. It has one bedroom, two bathrooms, two settees in the lounge, and a kitchen with just about everything needed for two or more people. The settees don't fold out into beds. There are steps at the front and a flight of stairs, so it isn't wheelchair accessible.

The apartment itself deserves five stars. It’s beautiful, very family-friendly, and clearly had a lot of care put into it. The welcome pack had wine, biscuits, tea, coffee and milk, plus dishwasher tablets, bin bags and cleaning products. There are games and DVDs, and the website photos don’t do the place justice. Parking was the real issue for us. Two of us had cars, but only one space is officially provided, although we were allowed to use another during our stay. The spaces have bollards that lie flat when in use. Our cars sit low, and one bollard seriously damaged the underside of a car. Be careful if you have a low vehicle.

A spacious, well-equipped apartment with good views and local amenities close by. The only drawback was some nighttime noise from the nearby Wetherspoons. I’d happily stay again.

A comfortable bed made for a good night's sleep, and the apartment was nicely decorated and well equipped. There’s a convenient parking space close by, and it’s an excellent base for exploring North Devon. I’d gladly recommend it.

Everything is within about a five-minute walk, including the beach, pubs, theatre and shops. The apartment was cosy, clean and tidy, with all a couple needs for a holiday. Chambercombe Manor is around a 5-10 minute drive away, and worth visiting if you're interested in the paranormal or its interesting history. Deffo thumbs up 👍👍👍
