Hele Valley Holiday Park

The site was quiet and scenic, with plenty of room. We arrived late for our one-night stay at Hele valley and never met any staff, but the check-in and communication were efficient, so we got to our pitch without any trouble. The toilets and showers looked brand new and were the nicest I’ve seen at a campsite. We’d happily come back.

We stayed in our motorhome on a generous pitch beside a stream, with woods behind it. The washrooms were spotless, and the whole site was very well kept, with good facilities in a peaceful setting. It’s under 10 minutes to the beach, where there’s a pub and cafe, and a lovely tea room even closer if it’s open. The harbour and town centre are a steady 30-minute walk away.

The owners were really friendly, and the shower and toilet block was extremely clean. We had a perfect four-day campervan stay, with excellent pitches and all the services we needed. The showers could be a bit warmer on chilly mornings, though they’re fine on hot days. We’ll be back. Well done, Hele.

Our children loved the park and nature trail, and it was great being able to walk to places. We spent two nights here in our campervan during a Devon road trip and really enjoyed it. The pitches are large, and the site is beautifully clean and well managed. We’d recommend it and would return if we’re nearby.
