We found this place while attending a wedding nearby and stayed the night. Christopher was really helpful and accommodating, including giving us a lift up the road to our car at the venue the next morning. The hotel is a beautiful beach house with stunning coastal views, and breakfast was lovely. We couldn't have asked for more and highly recommend Newberry Beach Lodge.

At the end of August, we had a wonderful time at Newberry Beach Lodge. Jane and Chris were so welcoming that we felt right at home, and the quirky lodge has loads of character and a warm, inviting feel. Breakfast was delicious, with lovely home-cooked touches, and the beach is just a stone's throw away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and really hope to return one day! The location was brilliant for walking the South Coast pathway, but our group of six walkers agreed this was the worst of the eight B&Bs we stayed at during our holiday. When we arrived after a 14-mile walk, the owners weren't there. We were met by their consistently barking dogs and pieces of paper with property details. We wanted hot showers or baths, but there was no hot water. It wasn't sorted until the owner arrived an hour later and turned on the immersion heater. The bedrooms were functional but aged, including the bed, and breakfast was adequate.

We stayed at the beginning of December and loved the magical, mystical feel of the cove, with beautiful views of waves crashing against the rocks. Jane and Christopher were friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts were amazing. We were very happy here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect place to stay. 😀

The room was awesome, with a great sea view and a super-comfortable bed. Christopher and Jane were friendly, excellent hosts and knew the local area inside out. I'm really glad I picked Newberry Beach Lodge over anywhere else in Combe Martin. It felt like winning the hospitality lottery, and I look forward to coming back!
