The Osborne Hotel

We had a good time at the Osborne Hotel during our five-day coach holiday with Eastons Coaches. It's a family-run place, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The meals were good and the service excellent. Our room was a decent size. The hotel is a little dated, but we'd recommend it.

We'll definitely come back, especially for more laughs with our pal Nick. His entertainment was brilliant, and he's such a fun character, always ready for a giggle. This family-run hotel had a great atmosphere, and everyone made us feel welcome and helped in every way they could. The rooms were spacious and immaculately clean, with a lovely choice of breakfasts each morning. Five stars all the way!

The owners and staff were A1, and that includes Dolly the dog. There was entertainment each night, and I was grateful to borrow an electric wheelchair in return for a charity donation. It made getting around town easy. We were welcomed late in the afternoon with a refreshing cuppa. Our room was quite large, and the bathroom was big enough to be a bedroom too, though it also housed the wardrobe. The TV was quite old and seemed too small for such a large room, which I felt didn't do the place justice. I'd return without a second thought. Terry Martin

The location is amazing, right across from the sea in a quiet part of town, and the staff were lovely. But for what we paid, I expected better rooms, and the breakfast was pretty basic. The hotel is outdated, which might suit some people, but it wasn't for me.
