The Rocky Cove Bed & Breakfast

We slept so well in the very comfortable king bed, and the room was clean, cosy and nicely decorated. There was lots of tasteful artwork, soft linen, plus teas and coffees. Breakfast was good and got us off to a nice start. The hosts were attentive and friendly from the moment we arrived, with useful advice on attractions and places to eat, as well as detailed information on several parking options near the B&B. My wife and I recently stayed here and were very pleased.

Nicki and Jonah were terrific hosts, always happy to help. The rooms at Rocky Cove B&B are lovely, comfortable and thoughtfully put together. The harbour and ferry pier are around five minutes away on foot, and the bus stop is practically outside. We highly recommend it as a place to stay in Illfracombe.

We felt at home for all four nights and were very well looked after. Nicki and Jonah gave us a lovely welcome and showed us to a spacious, spotless, well equipped room, decorated in a quirky style with homely touches. The bed was comfortable, the shower hot, and the bath in the bedroom was a lovely extra for warming up after a cold dip in the sea. The B&B is central, so we walked everywhere, with parking nearby. We didn't have breakfast because we were meeting family each morning around Ilfracombe, but it smelled incredible. Thanks so much, Nicki and Jonah. We'll be back when we next visit family.

I booked directly with the owners for a better rate and to support a local business. They were personable, friendly and helpful throughout the booking, and didn't make me feel like just another tourist. We couldn't stay on our planned date because of a sudden illness, but I'll happily rebook. The location is right by the seafront, with a large car park opposite, shops and the beach close by, and a short walk to the harbour. The strong reviews are well deserved.
