The house is so spacious that a big family or a group of friends could stay comfortably, and the bedding and towels feel luxurious. Everything was exceptionally clean and furnished to a very high standard. It's beautifully located too, just a couple of minutes on foot from the harbour, with plenty of bars and places to eat nearby.

We liked the house so much that we booked it again as soon as we got home. The Salt House is superbly furnished and maintained, and o and Jon were wonderful hosts. From the front door, it's about 30 seconds to the harbour, with quaint pubs, good restaurants and takeaways close by. The pay and display car park is only 25 metres away and costs a reasonable £8 a day. Ilfracombe has plenty to see and do, so we could leave the car parked until it was time to go. Try The Antidote for dinner, you won't know how good it is until you've eaten there.

Everything in town is a very short walk away. The house is lovely, nicely decorated, and has all the amenities we needed. The hosts were lovely too, and I'd happily stay again if I'm in the area.

Joanna and jon were amazing hosts. The property is right by the harbour, spotlessly clean, and ideal for families. It was fantastic value too. I'm not sure anywhere could top this place!
