The hosts were delightful and took such good care of me while I was travelling alone. Nothing felt like too much trouble. I spent a week here, and my room at the top of the hotel was so beautifully decorated it took my breath away. It was quiet, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and everything in the room felt high quality and luxurious. It had everything I needed. Breakfast was delicious, with something different each day, and the meals were served in a lovely sunny room. I stayed for dinner one evening and really wished I’d done that every night. The service was great, and all the shared rooms have stunning decor. I’d absolutely recommend staying here.

Breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh fruit salad with yogurt and honey. Our room was just right, with both a bath and a shower, plus gorgeous luxury products to use. From the moment Bonnie opened the door, we felt welcome in this beautiful, quirky hotel. Thank you Bonnie and Betty, and Pickle the house dog too, for a wonderful stay. Just perfect if you like somewhere a bit different.

Betty and Bonnie were so helpful and made sure we were happy. They shared local tips, booked restaurants for us, and even gave us a lift. The hotel is in great condition and nicely decorated. We had a lovely stay, and I had a great time throwing the ball for Pickle in the garden.

Bonnie and Betty made us feel very welcome, and breakfast was fantastic. The old building looks out over Ilfracombe, with elegant, contemporary decor that suits the setting. A lovely sea view is an easy ten-minute walk away, or a brisk five-minute one, just right for sunset strolls. We'd certainly come back if we were in the area again.

My wife and I had a lovely stay. The hosts did everything they could to help us, and we’d definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and really comfortable, and the views over illfracombe were spectacular.
