The beds and luxury linens were so comfortable, and the fluffy towels and dressing gowns made us feel thoroughly looked after. We stayed here for a magical weekend with seven friends, and the roll-top bath was another lovely touch. It's unusual to find this much luxury in self-catering accommodation. Such a special place, and we felt lucky to be there.
The house is lovely and secluded, though there's nowhere nearby for amenities, and we wouldn't personally return. We were there for a long weekend celebrating my mother's birthday with our small dog. The garden wasn't secure, and she got out onto the main road three times, which was frightening; we ended up barricading the exits. We also found nine large hornets in one bathroom, which wasn't pleasant. The house could use some TLC, though the seclusion may suit other guests.
We only had three nights, which was the one downside to a wonderful weekend celebrating my mum's 70th. There were 14 of us, and she was completely blown away by the accommodation and its location. The farmhouse and cottage were outstanding, comfortable, and beautifully decorated and furnished. Staff helped us before we arrived, finding us a great place to eat and arrange pamper parties, and went above and beyond to make the stay as good as possible. It was a lovely surprise for Mum. We'd definitely recommend it and come back. Thank you.
We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage. It was presented really well and stocked with everything we could need.
Everything for a full family holiday was provided, and the place was impeccably kept. Absolutely gorgeous, without a fault.
