The welcome pack had snacks and milk, though no fresh bread or flowers. The cottage is lovely and sits in a beautiful part of the world. Just be aware that use of the wood-fired hot tub is restricted after 9pm, as stated after booking. It takes about two and a half hours to heat, so if you go out in the evening there's little chance to use it. It's a shame the countryside view shown in the photos can no longer be seen from the tub. The shiny nickel bath is a bit rusty now.

Dillington Orchard Cottage was a perfect home away from home for our half-term break. It was an amazing size for two families with young children, and I really appreciated the owners arranging an extra bed in one of the rooms. I'd definitely recommend staying here if you need plenty of space and helpful, friendly owners.

Brilliant, spacious cottage with everything our party of eight needed. The amenities were top quality, including the showers, TV and sound equipment, and cooking facilities. The huge 2K acre grounds are great for long walks.
