The birthday meal was made special by the good atmosphere, tasty beer and interesting cocktails. The staff were chatty, cared about their guests and served everything well. Every dish was delicious, especially the really good Ham Hock, and the set menu is superb value. Thank you.

We went for Sunday lunch, and the pork was absolutely delicious. The roast trimmings were wonderful, portions generous, and the desserts amazing. It’s a lovely pub and restaurant, with a nice setting and great staff. Best Sunday lunch I’ve had in ages, maybe ever. Would highly recommend.

The Barrington Boar made my husband’s 60th birthday dinner feel really special. They even wrote him a card with birthday wishes, which was so thoughtful. Our recommended duck parfait starter and steak main were both fantastic, cooked perfectly. The staff were very attentive, the surroundings lovely, and the evening was amazing from the start. The girl who waited on us deserves a mention, though I didn’t get her name. A real little gem, and I’d most definitely recommend a visit.

The bill can get pretty sizeable if you stay and have dinner, so it’s a luxury treat for those with deep enough pockets. We thought it was worth it. The pub and restaurant are beautifully presented, with a lovely welcome and genuinely amazing food. Our room was in a separate conversion a little way along the road, and it was comfortable and clean. There’s a shared parlour and pantry with complimentary tidbits, plus guest amenities that are spot on. Comfy beds, a gorgeous shower and delicious breakfast. The staff were wonderful, friendly, attentive and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

The team gave my elderly parents such good care, and we were warmly welcomed. Sunday lunch at The Barrington Boar lived up to its reputation, every mouthful was a treat, and dessert was lovely too. Barrington is a quaint village, and we had a wonderful experience from beginning to end.
