The food was incredible, and the welcome was just as good. After a long day paddling, we arrived late at 21.15, just after the kitchen had closed. The staff had a quick chat out back, then seated us and served us anyway. I had the haggis and my wife chose the vegan haggis, both were the best food we’d had during our time in the Highlands. They chatted with us about our travels and gave us helpful local tips for looking for highland cows the next day. Thanks, Jon, for feeding two hungry travellers. We’ll be back. Google really needs a six-star option.

The staff deserve five stars, and the room was comfy too. We used the place as a base for a week-long tour, and the kitchen was good. A lovely place, thanks for everything, Ben! Greetings from Hungary! :)

We had a lovely evening at Roam West. It felt warm and snug, and it’s dog friendly. The service was great, attentive without being pushy, and the atmosphere felt homely. Our table was for four, including two vegetarians, and there was plenty to choose from across the starters, mains and sweets. Everything was delicious and nicely presented. We’d happily recommend it.

We really enjoyed eating at Roam West, so much that we came back for dinner two days in a row. The staff were happy to suggest new beers to try and explain how to eat the meals the Scottish way. If we visit Glencoe again, we’ll definitely eat at Roam West again :)

We walked over from the local campsite for dinner. The venison pie and burger were both really tasty, and the service was great. Good value for money.
