The Beach House

We booked the two nights at the Beach House through Wowcher, and the deal also came with an hour at Amber Rose spa. The room was gorgeous, and we were impressed with the whole stay. We paid extra for spa treatments and thought they were absolutely worth it. Dinner at The Lodge restaurant was up to expectations as well. A really relaxing couple of days, and I’d highly recommend it.

We loved the thermal Spa at The Lodge on the Loch before checking in, and the staff there were friendly and helpful, as were the boys at the bar. At The Beach House our suite was spotless, with a beautiful Loch view, everything we needed and a very comfortable bed. The bath with that view was amazing. We’d definitely return, and highly recommend The Inn for food, just a two minute walk away.

The Beach House is right by the water, so it’s peaceful and beautiful, with walking trails nearby and Luss only three miles away. We paid extra for a sea view room and enjoyed looking out at the water, although the weather was poor and our room had a large window rather than the patio door we expected. The other sea view room seemed to have one. The room itself was spacious, clean and luxurious. We especially liked the robes and Arran Arromatics toiletries, plus the coffee machine, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk and biscuits. Both the bed and sofa were exceptionally comfortable, and there was a large TV with Sky and smart features. Free WIFI and a small fridge were a welcome surprise, as neither was listed. We were told to call the hotel if locked out and they’d give us the safe box code, so we wouldn’t have to go back to reception. Check out was easy, just leave the key card in the room. Cleaning was available if needed, and our booking included an hour in the hotel steam room. Food and drink at The Inn on Loch Lomond were easy to reach through the car park tunnel. Finding The Beach House was confusing despite the check in instructions: check in is at The Lodge on Loch Lomond, but access to The Beach House is through the tunnel in The Inn on Loch Lomond car park, three miles from where we picked up the keys. It’s a great place to relax, though there isn’t a huge amount to do in bad weather. We’d recommend a stay.

We liked the spacious attic room, which was well looked after. It had a coffee machine, and the fridge came with bottled water. The bathroom was huge, with a separate bath and shower. The only downside was finding the Beach House entrance: it’s down a very narrow lane and hard to see, especially at night, with poor signage. A sign or light at the entrance would help.
