Bracarina House

The town has a lovely river, waterfall and old stone bridge, and we enjoyed visiting the craft clog shop just beyond the shop, right on the Great Glen Way. If you need supplies, the place literally called shop is about a minute away on foot. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with thoughtful extras like biscuits, tea and fresh milk. The hosts were kind and helpful, and breakfast was plentiful with our vegetarian requests well catered for. We’d recommend staying here and would gladly return.

We dried and warmed our wet walking gear in their bootroom, which was a great idea. The hosts were so kind, and we enjoyed chatting over generous portions at dinner and breakfast. Our travel tour company had booked the stay for us. The room was beautiful and big, with a lovely view of the back garden and a great private bathroom.

All six of us had a great stay at Bracarina House on 4 June while walking as a group. Nicky and Jay welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. The large bedroom and bathroom were comfortable, and the excellent breakfast set us up for the next day's walk. A great stop on the GGW or a base for exploring. Thank you.

We spent one night here while walking the Great Glen Way. The bedrooms are modern, spacious and comfortable, and breakfast was delicious. Our hosts were friendly and welcoming. We also had a packed lunch, and the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel is very close by for dinner.
