Daviot Lodge B&B was a lovely base for seeing Inverness, and getting to Culloden and Clava Cairns was quick. The building is beautiful, our room was excellent, and the staff were amazing. Breakfast was delicious too. We had a wonderful couple of days and nights, and they made the whole stay feel special. I can't recommend it enough.

Breakfast was delicious, and the service was excellent. When we arrived, they left us complimentary sherry and chocolates, plus a book of local restaurant suggestions. Since our flight was so early on the last morning, they even gave us cereal to take along before breakfast began. The price was modest and felt like a real bargain. We stayed in the spacious, very comfortable Nairn master room, which got a little warm, but opening the window for a cool breeze sorted that out. My husband and I loved the Scottish country setting and the animals. We had a wonderful stay at Daviot Lodge this past August and would gladly come again and recommend it to others.

Margaret and Alex's friendliness, along with all the thoughtful little details, made this stay feel perfect. There was a welcoming sherry waiting on our “window-on-the-world” table, and breakfast was excellent. The lovely building has clean, comfortable rooms, plus a library and lounge for everyone. It's peaceful countryside away from the city, though we saw plenty of hares, Highland cattle and wild birds.

Margaret was such a wonderful hostess. We had an early flight and would miss breakfast, but she insisted on sending us off with a goody bag for the plane. The place was the prettiest and cleanest we've stayed in, and so quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommend!

Breakfast is substantial, with plenty of cooked choices as well as fruit, yogurts, porridge and cereals. The bedrooms are smartly presented, with high quality tea and coffee. Traditional decor suits the country setting, and there are several comfortable places to sit, including the large residents lounge with its sofas and window seats, a little library lounge nearby, and more seating in reception. You can also order a selection of bar drinks from the hosts. The location is very tranquil, with easy access to the A9 from the north or south.
