The hosts, Jamie and Heather, were lovely and made me feel very welcome. They were relaxed and accommodating about everything. My room was cosy and had everything I needed, and the stay felt like home from home. The house is in a quiet residential area, only 5-10 minutes from the centre. I enjoyed wandering around the neighborhood even more than the town centre, and found some lovely local businesses to check out. It was a real pleasure staying here!! : )

Jamie was so friendly and helpful, and I really enjoyed the breakfast, especially the local cheese selection. I only stayed two nights but loved it. If I'm back in the area, I'd definitely stay again!

Jaime knows the Highlands inside out. He runs his own tour guide service and is like an encyclopedia of places to visit and things to do. I stayed in a ground-floor room at Doric House while doing the North Coast 500 with Jaime and Heather. The room was comfortable, the shower and toilet facilities were great, and the simple breakfast was enough. I'll definitely come back!

We spent three lovely nights at Doric House. The hosts were so friendly and gave us great tips for exploring places like the Isle of Skye. They also run tours, which I sadly didn't get to try this time. The room was cosy and spotless, and breakfast was excellent. I especially liked sampling cheeses from different local producers. Hope to stay again soon :)

Jamie was really helpful with advice about attractions and even sent me a map link each morning, which came in handy. The house is within walking distance of plenty of shops and restaurants. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable.
