Culloden, Clava Cairn, several castles, Fort George, and Inverness are all an easy drive from here. The views are breathtaking, and our room was clean and comfortable. We were so happy we chose Doura Lodge to begin our Scotland tour. The owners are warm, know their stuff, and make a delicious breakfast. Stay here, you won't regret it!

Emma and Josef made us feel very welcome. Their rooms are lovely, and the scenery around this beautiful spot just outside Inverness is spectacular.

The breakfast was a treat, with locally sourced ingredients, and our room looked out over the nearby hills. We came for a peaceful break, and Josef and Emma were fantastic hosts who went the extra mile to make it memorable. There are plenty of local historical sights to explore, so give yourself a few days. Highly recommended.

Breakfast here was easily the best we had anywhere in the UK, including Ireland, Scotland, and England. The hosts were warm and friendly, and lovely to chat with over breakfast. They even offered us a nip of whisky. Room 1 had gorgeous country views, including the Via Duct, and was the largest room, with its own porch. The only drawback was that other guests walked past after parking their cars. The modern decor was beautiful, and everything was extremely clean, with daily cleaning too. One of the best bed and breakfasts we've stayed in. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing view from our room, which was cozy and very clean. The location works well for visiting Culloden Battlefield and Clava Cairns. The hosts were really great, and breakfast was very good, with plenty to choose from, including scrambled eggs, toast, vegetarian options, and cereal. Best B&B I've stayed at in Scotland.
