Glamness Contactless Containers

The location is good, and for such a cheap stay I thought it was alright at first. It seemed clean, but then I found hairs in the bed and a large dead insect that looked as if it had been there a while. It didn't seem like the place had had a proper clean recently. The bed was unbelievably uncomfortable. I was awake and moving around all night, then had a very painful, sore back the next day. I'm not fussy and know you can't expect too much for a low price, but a clean, comfortable bed should be basic. Before trying to sleep in the container I might have rated it a 3 or even 4. It's not glam, despite the name. It could be fine for one night if the bed were decent. It was also freezing when we arrived. The instructions said the heating was on a timer, but the previous guest had apparently switched the radiators off. For Inverness winters, I'd suggest checking they're on while cleaning between guests. It also looks cheaper on Google.

I liked the container and everything worked fine for my one-night stay. But someone who knew the code walked into my locked unit and woke me up, asking for Imran. I'd thought each container had its own code. Not a nice thing to wake up to at all.

We arrived to find the accommodation uncleaned and not ready: the bed hadn't been made and towels were scattered around. The landlord was unavailable, stubborn and ignored our messages. There was no way to talk to anyone in person, only contact through WhatsApp. I should have paid closer attention to the reviews. In my view, taking payment for a service and then failing to provide it is criminal behaviour. It felt like making money mattered more than anything else.

The accommodation was compact and simple, and the location was quiet. We stayed just one night at the start of the NC500. The pre-arrival information was good, and luckily it wasn't cold even though the heating didn't work. One night was fine for us, but we wouldn't want a longer stay since we prefer more of a home-from-home feel.
