There’s plenty of free parking, and it’s about 15 minutes from the city centre and an hour from Fort Augustus. Guests can sit comfortably in the lobby, where there’s a TV, and help themselves to free coffee or other drinks. Snacks and breakfast options include an English-style breakfast, cereal, porridge, and vegan sausages on request. There’s even a cute little automatic pancake machine. The rooms were clean, the place peaceful, and the staff friendly. One thing to know: if you book through a third-party website, the hotel can’t change your booking. They can change the room or bed if you book directly on their own site. We had a great stay and would highly recommend it.

We stayed on two separate nights, and both visits were pleasant. The rooms were spacious and warm, and the best part was breakfast along with the free hot drinks, especially refreshing in the cold winter. Reception and support staff were very welcoming. A special mention to Mr Richard, who gave us advice about what to expect in Edinburgh. Highly recommended, and I might stay again if I return.

The check-in staff were efficient, friendly, and wonderful. Our rooms were as described, clean, and tidy when we arrived. Breakfast was great, though the bacon left much to be desired. The hot drinks were just right in both selection and quality. Fab hotel, definitely recommend!

The staff I met were lovely and welcoming, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. I stayed four nights for work around Inverness and Aberdeen, and honestly can’t fault the hotel. I especially liked being able to get a hot drink from the restaurant area at any time of day. There was also a microwave, plus snacks and drinks, which was a lovely touch. The beds were really comfortable, and my room was warm and clean. Even though the hotel looked quite busy, there were plenty of spaces in the well-lit car park.
