The location and view are lovely, but the stay was extremely stressful and didn't feel worth what I paid. Two hours before we were due to arrive, while we were on a train to Inverness, the manager messaged about a problem with the cleaners and said they might have to refund us if it couldn't be fixed. We had nowhere else to stay. I called at least four times and emailed several times with no reply, so I didn't know if the apartment would be ready. Check-in started at 14:00, but the entry details only arrived at 15:17pm. Luckily, we were meant to arrive later. Once inside, it was obvious the place hadn't been fully cleaned. The tub and toilet were dirty, and I cleaned them myself. The Wi-Fi login didn't work and asked for a provider account email and password we didn't have. I called and emailed the manager again and got no response, so we had no Wi-Fi for the whole stay. The apartment also felt shabby, with cracked plaster, bugs in the window shades, and what might have been mouse poop on the floor.

The apartment was very dim, and one room had no wardrobe or dressing table. The toilet cistern either wouldn't fill or filled only sometimes, so I had to use a saucepan to refill it. The bathroom basin drained slowly, the cooker hood didn't work, and the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling. It was all disappointing. I was allowed to get hand towels, and there were adequate table lamps.
