We slept well in the clean room, even though we could sometimes hear the trains and neighbours. In an old house, that seemed expected to me. The location worked well for us, and we walked into town and back. Breakfast was really tasty, and the host was friendly, helpful and accommodating. I liked his no-nonsense manner. Most rooms involve a steep flight of stairs, so anyone with mobility issues should check whether the downstairs room is available. There was off-road parking at the back, and we were offered an early check-in and told when the room was ready. We'd definitely return.

After a lot of touring, the comfortable bed and clean room were just what we needed. Breakfast was delicious, and I really appreciated the gluten-free toast. This was exactly the kind of place we wanted in Inverness. We'd happily recommend it, and hope to come back one day. Thanks so much!

The owner made our stay easy and enjoyable, and the clean, comfortable rooms were among the best we had on our two-week trip around Scotland, staying in hotels and guest houses. It was convenient both for walking into central Inverness and for getting onto the roads out of town. We'd stay again if we get the chance.
