The Ambassador Hotel

Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts we’ve had in ages. There’s a small continental buffet, but it was well stocked and kept topped up, plus an à la carte hot menu. We also had a lovely dinner at Talk of the Town. Our room had beautiful furnishings and lots of thoughtful details, with lovely views of the river and cathedral. The bed was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was well equipped with plenty of amenities. Tea and coffee facilities were excellent too. The staff were helpful from check-in right through to check-out. We had a lovely night at the Ambassador and will definitely be back.

The service was impeccable, and the team made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. We also loved the cozy bar, the wonderful breakfast and the food at the on-site Indian restaurant. In the lobby, there were complimentary homemade chocolate chip pecan cookies too. Our room was well appointed, and the rain shower was great. They arranged a taxi for our early flight and packed breakfast for us to eat at the airport. The Embassador has earned its five-star rating. It’s in a great spot, within walking distance of pretty much everything. Take a walk along the River Ness while you’re there.

The Ambassador was a wonderful stay, with great breadast and an excellent location. The staff were attentive, and the care they put into both the small details and the bigger ones really stood out. Highly recommend.

We visited the new restaurant soon after it opened and were really pleased with the food and service. They also showed us around a few of the rooms, which were beautifully furnished and all had their own character. I’ll definitely return.
