The Uile Bheist Distillery & Brewery tour with Matthew was fascinating. I enjoyed learning how the brewery and distillery processes connect and support one another, hearing about the brewery's history, and seeing the ingredients. The hotel bar was cosy and atmospheric, with distinctive pipes leading from the distillery. The Waterside Restaurant was great too, with quick, helpful service and delicious food. I especially liked the halloumi fries, sticky toffee pudding and the excellent main courses. There were plenty of choices. Breakfast was incredible, and the roomy buffet area never felt crowded, so I could take my time. Across the hotel and these places, the staff were so helpful. I had a brilliant three days at the Glen Mhor Hotel. The rooms were spacious, nicely decorated, clean and tidy, with very comfortable beds. I loved the unusual antler-decorated main lights and the lovely scents of the soaps and shower gels. The shower pressure was great. I'd recommend it to anyone coming to Inverness.

The Waterside Restaurant served outstanding food, and the staff were helpful with their recommendations. They have a great cocktail and mocktail selection, and the toffee cake made with their own beer is a must-try. Our hotel room and the overall feel were lovely, like a welcoming Scottish home. Everything was clean and well organised, and the staff were kind and attentive. The bar is cosy and intimate, with lovely decor. I especially liked the malt and peat shovels, and the unusual taps that serve beer straight from the distillery's conical flasks. It's a great location, a few minutes' walk from town and a quick 20-minute drive from Loch Ness. We also toured the Uile-bheist Distillery. Matthew was a lovely guide who explained its history and impressive sustainability story really well. I'd happily recommend it to friends and family.

We've stayed at Glen Mhor several times recently, taking advantage of the special offers, and are looking forward to our next visit. The Stay, Dine, Discover experience looks like excellent value. The hotel sits by the river and is handy for shops, restaurants, Eden Court Theatre and the newly renovated Inverness Castle. Rooms are clean, comfortable and nicely presented, and the staff are friendly and welcoming. The Waterside Restaurant is excellent. Highly recommended.

The restaurant made a chic setting for a classy dinner with my friends, and the staff were all lovely. I was glad to find delicious vegetarian choices and hope to try more next time. My room was clean and comfortable, with a lovely view of the river Ness. The location was ideal for seeing the city, with a pleasant walk along the river and the centre less than five minutes away. The distillery tour was informative and interactive. Getting to smell and taste the ingredients was a new touch for me, and Mathew answered all my questions, even going beyond the tour. I was happy to see local Gàidhlig culture and history included. All three parts of my stay were spectacular.

We really enjoyed the large, comfortable upstairs room, especially its river view and great location. There were a few small cleanliness issues, and breakfast was adequate. We arrived late and left early, so we could park on the street for free. Otherwise, paying for parking is a major downside.
