We had a brilliant stay in the three rooms above the pub. The staff were really helpful, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone staying nearby.

A welcoming local bar in inverurie, with friendly bar staff and plenty to do, including several dart boards and pool tables. Head there on a Saturday afternoon if you fancy a darts challenge. Great for a pint or whatever your tipple is, and everyone’s welcome.

The room was warm and comfortable, and quiet once the band downstairs finished playing. It was noisy while they were on, but it is a pub. The place was clean and friendly, and breakfast was good, with vegetarian and gluten-free options.

The landlady was very friendly and welcoming when I went into the Black Bull Inn, just a day before the “lockdown.” Locals were enjoying their drinks by the crackling log fire. Dogs are welcome too. It’s a good pub with lots of natural furnishings, and the public bar floor is original and looks splendid.
