There are loads of nearby places to get food, and the hotel sits on a lovely street of houses. The staff are so friendly, the place has loads of character, and my room and bathroom were really clean. The beds were comfy too.

A really sweet packed breakfast, and the room was clean and fine. The service was super friendly, and it's maybe a five-minute walk to town.

The room was clean, and they even gave me a breakfast goody bag. Everyone was super friendly from the welcome onward. Highly recommended 👌

I've stayed here four times now, and it's spotlessly clean with a warm welcome from the owners every time. It's a family-run independent budget hotel with excellent value and free parking right outside, unlike the Travelodge and Premier Inn in town, which charge for parking. You can easily walk to the football ground, the town centre and two excellent local pubs, greyhound and arbor house. Rooms have a microwave and tea and coffee facilities. At check-in, they give you a breakfast bag for the next morning with a porridge pot, croissant and fruit juice.

We slept well and had a perfect stay, with nothing to complain about. Everything was spotless, the staff were very helpful, and they arranged for us to leave the car while we went to a football match. The room was warm, clean and nice, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast pack was included in the price and lovely. I'd definitely return. 😁
