We'd happily stay here again. Our hostess was friendly and helpful, and Chimneys was just as we'd expected, and more. Being in the middle of the Shotley peninsula made it easy to get around in every direction, especially to the ferry for Harwich and Felixstowe.

My elderly parents stayed at Chimneys for about 7mths, and they were looked after amazingly well and made to feel very welcome. We couldn't fault the place or its warm, welcoming and very efficient host Carolyn. Their room, or rooms, were spotless throughout. I'd highly recommend a stay here to enjoy the hospitality and beautiful local area.

The bedrooms are really spacious and cosy, and the hostess is lovely and welcoming. She was easy to approach for help with anything and suggestions for places to have dinner. Fantastic area and location. I'd definitely stay again.

The instructions were clear and fair, and they gave us recommendations for local pubs. The bedroom and bathroom were nice and clean, with towels and shower gel supplied. Breakfast was a lovely full English, with music from an accomplished musician :-)
