Premier Inn Ipswich South East

I've stayed here several times for work and have had fantastic service every time. The location is convenient, and even when I book at the last minute or arrive late at night because of work, the staff have always been welcoming and accommodating.

I couldn't sleep. After less than half an hour, I woke in the sealed, overheated room with my colleague and the air felt impossible to breathe. At 5am I was sitting in my car in the car park, trying to get some rest. The heating was on, there was no way to cool the room, and the window wouldn't open. Surely hotels should have learned from Covid how important fresh air circulation is. This new trend of windows that don't open is ridiculous. I'm trying to stay polite, but I'm not happy.

We had a great stay, and the staff made it. Everyone at the Premier Inn Ipswich South East was capable and committed, especially the tall bearded receptionist, whose name I unfortunately didn't catch. He was approachable, obliging, and a real credit to the hotel and Premier Inn. The breakfast colleague at the attached Brewer's Fayre also stayed professional and calm during a Saturday morning power cut, while explaining what it might mean for customers' breakfasts. The hotel is on a retail estate, so it's not the most attractive setting, but it's easy to reach and handy for getting around, close to an A14 junction. Premier Inn is predictable in a good way, and this one suited our needs perfectly. We'd happily recommend it.

Matthew was especially helpful and went out of his way to sort things out for me. The staff at Premier Inn Ipswich South East were courteous and kind, and I loved my stay. Good job! 😊😊
