I called to ask whether a BuyaGift voucher could be used at this property, which is advertised as dog friendly. The owner was rude on the phone and said there'd be a £25 nightly surcharge because he doesn't get much money from the vouchers. If the scheme pays so little, why sign up? On top of that, the place isn't currently dog friendly. Very disappointing. I'll gladly go elsewhere.

There's a book-ahead afternoon tea here that's truly wonderful, served in a delightful setting. The B&B itself has loads of character, tucked away in a small Suffolk village, with lovely gardens and a swimming pool for residents.

The room and bathroom were very pleasant, and the natural garden is such a relaxing spot. Good host, good breakfast. I'd stay again if I'm in the area.

Really enjoyed the warm, spacious rooms and their beautiful decor. The Victorian-style ensuite had a big clawfoot bath, and the service was wonderful too.
