Uig Sands Rooms

We had a great stay, and the location is excellent for nearby activities, food and adventure. The view is perfectly placed too. The rooms have everything you could need and more, with a very spacious, private living area. We’ll be back.

For our honeymoon, we spent three nights at Uig Sands Rooms and couldn’t have asked for more. We spent hours admiring the breathtaking view from the amazing bath or the cosy sofa with the log burner going. Every detail and fixture felt high quality, and although the rooms have been open for six years, you’d never know from the condition of the furnishings. Elly was easy to reach on WhatsApp and kept in touch well. The community shop nearby, about a ten-minute walk, is very well stocked with groceries and gifts. A very special place, well worth visiting.

After a week travelling in our campervan, this was our mid-holiday treat, and what a treat. We watched eagles fly over the beach below, enjoyed a bath while the sun went down, and had a wonderfully comfortable bed and a log burner to warm us when the rain came in. The views are breathtaking. The kitchen meant we could cook one of Uig Sands Restaurants ready meals in our room while the restaurant was closed. Emily gave us a lovely welcome, and communication from all the staff was great. If you’re thinking of visiting, go for it. You won’t regret it.

The decor was lovely and the views unbelievable. Having a kitchen was really handy, since the only nearby restaurant is closed in winter. We visited in mid-December. It’s dog friendly too.
