Orchard House

The location is perfect, just a short walk into town, and the spacious, comfy rooms have thoughtful little touches that make them feel like home. The breakfast was great too. Lance is kind and amazing, and within seconds of arriving we could tell this was going to be a different kind of stay. What a welcome surprise in Portree. It's an absolute gem, and I wish I could give it more than five stars!

Lance and Emma were so kind and accommodating, and we loved the luxurious room and appreciated having breakfast provided. It was an easy, lovely ten-minute walk to downtown Portree, just right for us since we didn't want to drive and park down there. What a wonderful place to stay. I'll be sending friends and family here for future visits.

Emma and Lance were spectacular hosts, and I'd happily stay again. The room and bathroom were generously sized, with a lovely view, plenty of hot water, good pressure and lots of closet space. Breakfast was delicious. It's just a short walk from the centre of Portree. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

We loved being just outside Portree's busy tourist area, about a ten-minute walk into town. The place is surrounded by green trees and a little river, and it's so quiet and peaceful. The house and rooms were spotless, with no age-related wear or stains, and our room and bathroom were both very spacious. The service was lovely, and they were helpful with all our questions. The B&B is thoughtfully equipped too, with umbrellas, a flashlight and blackout shades for the two skylights in our room. There's plenty of parking. This is a hidden gem, and if I come back to Skye, I'll definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
